Rhonda Leeman Taylor
President and Author
As a young woman, she played for the Kingston Red Barons women’s hockey team until 1973. Starting in 1979 she spent 3 years traveling across Ontario, growing number of teams affiliated with the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association. She also founded and directed the Female Council for women’s hockey with the help of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), now Hockey Canada
Denbeigh Whitmarsh
Co-Author & Writer
A young student-athlete with a passion for writing and women in sports. She is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Arts in history, anthropology and French literature at McGill University, where she competes on the varsity cross-country and track and field teams. She has also published works of poetry in Montreal literary magazines The Veg, The Empathy Journal, The F-Word and Yolk.

With a wide range of personal stories based on a lifetime of experiences, Dave connects with people to reflect inward and take bold outward actions of good change
Kristen Lipscombe

Director of Communications
An award-winning journalist and communications specialist with experience in everything from sports to music to healthcare.
She is now working as a Senior Communications Advisor for the Government of Canada. She has travelled the country and world as a media manager for Hockey Canada and still pursues her passion for the female game through volunteer work, including leading communications and marketing for OFFSIDE.
Mark Staffieri

With an extensive writing background, Mark has chronicled the growth of women's hockey for the Bleacher Report, as well as the former Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) website from 2012 through 2015, including coverage of the 2013 Clarkson Cup. Mark is also the publisher of AllowHerToPlay, a website focused on raising awareness of women in sport.
Rob Del Mundo

A Toronto-based freelance sports writer who has covered the Maple Leafs for The Fischler Report since 1999-2000. Specializing in hockey, he has covered almost all aspects of the game, including NHL, AHL, junior, and women’s. He has authored or co-authored four books, including “The Best, Worst, And Biggest NHL Trades of All-Time!” and “Hockey’s Enforcers: A Dying Breed.”
Taylor Dewling

Since the young age of 4 she has been involved in various hockey leagues throughout Sault Ste.
Marie and is currently still playing. She’s participated in a variety of varsity athletics through
hockey, soccer, and cross-country running while attending post-secondary school. She is
currently in her final year of a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in
psychology of sport, exercise, and recreation at Memorial University of Newfoundland. This ties
together her previous education of psychology and recreation therapy. Through her
experiences in sport and education she is looking forward to contributing to OFFSIDE.
